2017 SSEA Scholarship Information

   Each year, the Southern Saw Filers' Educational Association awards monetary scholarships to those graduating high school seniors who are interested in furthering their education by attending a college, university or institution of higher learning. Scholarship Applicants must be a current graduating high school senior and the child of a registered SSEA member.
When submitting a Scholarship Application, keep in mind it must be completed in full, either neatly hand written or typed and must be received in our office no later than July 30, 2017 to be considered. Recipients will be chosen from those applications received.

                                                  James Hughes  
James is a 2011 Scholarship Recipient and is the son of SSEA Member Debbie Hughes.  James is from Nacogdoches, TX and graduated from Garrison high school in Nacogdoches County. He attended Blinn College and is currently working as a licensed Journeyman Electrician on the Houston Ship Channel. 
Sarah Hodges
Sarah is a 2011 Scholarship recipient.  Her father, Napoleon Hodges, is a current member and past President the SSEA. Sarah is from Magnolia, MS, where she graduated from her local high school with Honors.
